Heliolite systems are glazing constructions uniquely designed in detail for each project (skylight, glazed façade, window, canopy, floor or balustrade). This is possible due to the fact that they are open systems, prevailing adjustable structural sections and special flashings and accessories for ventilation, cooling and shadowing.
The same is valid for every glassblock partition wall and every application of System 1 ΚD for metal cladding.
Heliolite systems are structurally glazed, the glazing is silicone structurally bonded to the appropriate structure, made of stainless steel or aluminium. Hence, local stress is avoided, as well as deformation and danger of failure or breakage, caused by external loading, like wind, snow, thermal stress. Additionally, glazed shells of any shape can be effected reliably, whether low sloped surfaces are effective!
The metal structure may follow the glazing joints or be minimal via Carl Stahl accessories.
